Operation Christmas Child

at FBC

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. The mission is

to provide local partners worldwide with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies to reach out to children in their communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease and children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. OCC has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 168 million children in more than 100 countries.

See how you can be involved below!

Pack a Shoebox

OCC Shoeboxes are a great way to continue our legacy of missions and ministering to those who are hurting. Shoeboxes will be available for you to pick up in the main hallway “behind” the sanctuary beginning Sunday, October 22nd. We ask that you fill your boxes and return them to the church by Sunday, November 19th.

If you would rather provide funds for someone else to pack a shoebox for you, follow this link: https://sampur.se/45M1nrh.

Be a Collection-Point Volunteer

This year we are serving as our local collection point for all our area churches! This is a family-friendly serving opportunity; bring your kids and teach them how to serve others. There will be training provided for each task.
