IV. New Business - Pastor Dale Fields

• A. Interim Teaching Pastor:

     The FBC Leadership Council recommends the election of Dr. Michael Fitzgerald to serve as the Interim Teaching Pastor at FBC beginning Sunday, June 8 and lasting for the duration of the pastor transition period, unless determined otherwise by the FBC Leadership Council.

• B. First Baptist Preschool Budget:

     The Stewardship Team recommends the approval of the First Baptist Preschool (FBP) budget as presented.

• C. Legacy Endowment Fund:

     The Stewardship Team recommends the congregation authorize the Leadership Council to transfer, at its discretion, up to $500,000 from the Legacy Endowment Fund to the Ministry Reserve Fund during the 2025 calendar year. Any amount transferred shall not include any portion of the Legacy Endowment Fund’s $430,000 principal.

• D. SBC Messengers:

     The FBC Leadership Council recommends the election of the following individuals to represent FBC as messengers at the Southern Baptist Convention in Dallas, TX, June 10-11, 2025: Dale and Hannah Fields, Larry Sides
