This national character development organization for young women embraces Christian values and encourages family involvement.  All biological girls of any color, creed, race, national origin and socioeconomic status who agree to live according to the standards of the AHG Oath and the AHG Creed are invited to be members of American Heritage Girls Troop VA0735.

Park Street Youth Ministry (PSYM) exists to make disciples of the next generation and help them own their faith as they step into adulthood. Wednesday nights are an opportunity for students to grow together in their relationship with Jesus with an emphasis on community and discipleship. Wednesday nights are perfect to form amazing friendships to last a lifetime!

LIFE UNIVERSITY


Disciples of Christ are to “grow in godliness” (1 Timothy 4:7) by pursuing an ever-deepening knowledge of and relationship with the Lord Jesus. These discipleship courses each semester cover a variety of biblical topics to help you in grow in godliness!

    FBC will be hosting the first of several classes on caring for seniors from a Christian perspective Thursday, September 10, from 1-3PM at FBC.

    We will discuss lessons learned from their personal experiences, with additional information from Tracey Young with her social work experience.

    This class is designed for seniors and families, especially those with elder loved ones, providing an overview including early planning for caregiving, hospital and nursing facilities, at home care, getting through the crisis and post-crisis actions.
