Kick off your next Motorcycle Ministry Trip
Our June motorcycle ministry excursion will be to the heart of New Hampshire. This will be an expedition type tour, as FAITH Riders does not have a direct plugin to mission work currently ongoing in the region. We will spend one morning at THE TENT, hosted by Cornerstone Outreach Ministries, and getting to know this group, as well meeting others in the MM for Bike Week. We will walk the streets of Laconia, seeking out those God has prepared for us. We will spend a day riding the Kancamagus Highway and Mt. Washington Auto Road, and head back. We will stay in Conway, NH about 40 miles north.
Wednesday: Crozet, VA to Swanzey, NH: 616 mi, 12hrs. (~125 mile b/w stops), stopping for lunch at Jo-Jo's Deli in New Milford, CT and overnight in Waterbury, CT.
Thursday: Swanzey, NH to Conway, NH: We will stop for a few hours to donate a few hours of time with Cornerstone Outreach Ministries on Route 9. Continue our ride up to Laconia for Lunch at the Water Street Cafe for some comfort food before heading to the Weirs Beach and the Boardwalk where the Rally Headquarters is. Our destination for Day Two is 40 miles north in Conway where we'll stop to top off before checking in at our accommodations then link up for dinner before turning in for the night. If you would like your own accommodations in Conway, there are many hotels located on 302 near the Settler's Green Outlet Village.
Friday: We will awake early to grab some breakfast and coffee before heading out to explore New Hampshire and Maine, depending on the weather we'll see Mts. Washington, Jefferson and Adams. If available we can trek the Auto Road up to the summit, or just meander around following the Peabody River through the Whites Mountain National Forest to Gorham, east in to Maine and south down beautiful Route 113 before heading to lunch and back to Laconia for some Street Evangelism and Dinner.
Saturday: Load up for Breakfast before heading home on the Kancamagus Highway. We will head south via the back roads for and stop over night outside of Reading, PA (480 miles, 11.5 hours).
